Q)
What's up Nate, I just wanted to ask you if you think Brian Dawkins is the best safety in the NFL?
--mike neal, 19135, PA
|
| A)
What's up Mike. After being a teammate of Brian I have learned a lot about him. I think that he has a lot of tools that some safeties in this league don't have. So If he's not the best he is the next best thing.

Q)
hows it goin SirBumpAlot! Just gotta say that for as how bad the offense played on monday, you and the rest of the D kept us in the game for the majority of the time. There is only so much this D can do tho. If the offense can pick it up, and I am confident that they will there should be big things coming from this team this year! ps: please tell Coach Reid to run the ball on the 1 yd line! That should of been a guarenteed td! thanks and good luck the rest of the season
--Keith Weitzel, Mantua, NJ

Thanks Keith, I think that we all and will have to pick it up. These next fifteen games I think that you will see a different attitude from the Eagles. Thanks

Q)
Well, at least that Tampa Bay game is over! I don't know what happened!! But I just wanted to say that the defense did a great job in the first half of holding the Bucs, and I can see how after being on the field as much as you were that by the second half you guys were probably exhausted. The offense really needs to help you guys out! Do you think that getting tired because of all the time on the field was a factor?? or just an excuse? Cause that's what a lot of people say........
Either way, I love the eagles and Good Luck with all the games to come! E-A-G-L-E-S-! EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI Kelly, Well as a defensive player it doesn't matter how many and how often that we have to go on the field it's our job to stop the opposing offensive unit. Thanks

Q)
Hey Nate, How's the body feelin' after last night's terrible beating? I know it's only the first game, but it's true that any team that got shut out in the first game didn't get to the "Bowl",. What do you feel about that stat & what will you do to change that? Hopin' the defense gets healthy & the offense can give you guys more rest. Too much time on the field for ya last night! On to game
two against the Pats! E-A-G-L-E-S----EAGLES!!!!
--George Lang, Philadelphia, PA
|
| A)
Hi George, My body is feeling pretty good. I haven't heard of the stat about being shut out in the first game and if it's true I guess we just have get on the right track and altar history just a little bit. As a team I think we just have to look at the Tampa game and learn from the mistakes that we made and the opportunities that we didn't take advantage of. Thanks

Q)
I know your new to philly. But I need to know, If Andy doesn't tell Jimmy Johnson what defense to call, why does he call the offensive plays.....The offense needs to use their weapons.
--Vinnie Perez, Riverton, NJ
|
A)
What's up Vinnie. The Eagles have done a great job over the past years with Andy calling the plays, While falling a win short of the Super Bowl we will and must continue to do what it takes to obtain our ultimate goal (winning the Super Bowl). As a player I feel your frustration and at the same time I can't allow myself or my teammates to allow what happened Monday Night get the best of us. The only thing that we can do now is learn from our mistakes, not let them happen again and get ready for New England.
