Q)
Nate, I have watched your career from the time you became a starter at Ole Miss. I am a student at Mississippi State, and I wanted to know what you think about the changing of Ole Miss mascot. BTW, did you have any family members that attended MSU?
--Dahlia Porter, Mississippi State, MS

Hi Dahlia, I think that the changing of the Ole Miss Mascot will benefit the University in recruiting both out of state and in state players. Yes I do have relatives that attends and attended MSU. Thanks

Hi Nate, I just wanted to say that I was a big fan of yours in Green Bay and was very happy when I heard you signed with my birds. I love how you play the game with so much heart and emotion. I know you can be our locker room leader now that Hugh and B-Mitch are gone because you had that role in Green Bay. Good luck, I know you guys can turn it around and win a superbowl. P.S-Tell Andy to run the ball!

Thanks Mark, You're right we will turn this thing around. The Bye week couldn't come at a better time, so that we can get some guys healthy. Thanks

Q)
Nate,
Tough loss this past week, I really thought, and still think, you guys match up well with New England. Even though you guys seem to be in an early season lull, I have faith that this team will get things back on the right track. My question is, what do you think needs to change for you guys to turn this thing around? I mean is it mental, strategical, or physical?
Thanks,
P.B.

Paul In my opinion I think that we must first continue to believe in each other execute and be the first one to SMACK opposing team in the mouth, plain and simple. Thanks

Q)
hey nate, players and fans are obviously disapointed after the new england game....we know our defense is capable and we know we have a talented group of offensive guys...so my question, what do you think the team needs to do to get back on track?
thanx and god bless you, jon
--jon wilcox, elizabethton, TN
|
| A)
Well Jon first of all when things are going bad some people will write us off but we as a team know what we're capable of. So, we must stick together and continue to believe and trust each other. I must also say that we have to do a better job of executing.

Q)
Mr. Wayne...What a game. You guys played your hearts out until the very end. Even in defeat, that makes this Eagles fan VERY happy. I don't have any mind boggling advice that will simply bring back all of the injured players and make all of McNabbs throws, and receivers catches golden, but I can say that I, and all Eagles Fans are behind you. Regardless of what you hear on WIP or in the news the fact remains that you put one game in the win column, and these fans (me included) will be talking about the the GREAT PHILADELPHIA EAGLES. I know, one win at a time, just don't bog yourselves down with too much pressure, this is still game so PLEASE have fun with it for all of us fans that don't have the gift that you do have. And believe me...You Guys HAVE IT..

Thanks Andrew for your words of encouragement. After playing this game for years I have learned that It's not about how you start but how you finish and by the Eagles being a team that doesn't quit we will finish on top. Once again thanks for your kind words.

Q)
Nate, I was told you said some very forceful things on the postgame show on Comcast. Can you quote them for us here? I, for one, love knowing that we've got a guy like you playing for us. When so many people are already talking about the team's "failed season," you're proving yourself a leader, both on the field and off. Thanks for being a true Eagle, Nate.

Hi Don, It's 2:55am after the devastating lost to New England. I for one don't enjoy losing especially to teams that you know you out match. I am fortunate to be an Eagle but we have to turn things around fast. I know that I'm the new guy and that the new guy should be seen and not heard well I have been seen now it's time for me to be heard. Thank you!!

Q)
Hey Nate! I'm just starting college at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa Al. I wanted to ask you what was the hardest thing for you to do in college?
--Tiah Leech, Columbus, MS
|
| A)
Tiah the hardest thing for me to do while I was in college was to manage my time between football practice and studying. But I learned that anything worth having is worth working for and I wanted my Degree so I worked hard for it.
